We would like to inform you regarding the implemented policy decisions by Brinkers Food BV due to the recent developments concerning the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and its impact, both socially and professionally.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to inform you regarding the implemented policy decisions by Brinkers Food BV due to the recent developments concerning the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and its impact, both socially and professionally.

Organisation
Brinkers Food BV created a crisis team on 9th March. The crisis team consists of members from the management team (including commercial, customer service, finance and operational department). The main focus of this team is to draw up the policy with regard to the coronavirus and ensure its implementation.

Policy
Information of recognized authorities is the basis for our policy:

The policy of Brinkers Food BV is focused on two aspects:

1. Prevention of contamination and maximum protection of employees, clients, suppliers and visitors.

2. Continuation of company processes.
a) Securing and continuing the production of Brinkers Food BV’s products.
b) The continued client-orientated attitude, as you are used to from us.
c) Securing and continuing the administrative processes (i.a. the ‘tracking and tracing’, the quality systems, inventory management and invoicing).

We will contact you in case of any consequences regarding deliveries of your orders, so we can solve the situation in the right manner together.

We kindly ask your understanding for the fact that we shall postpone new initiatives and ‘new product development projects (NPD)’ in consultation with you, to meet the primary business operations.

Measures
Measures which are already taken until further notice:

  • Creating a crisis team. The team consults on a daily basis about taken measures and new measures.
  • Drawing up additional protocols regarding receiving visitors at the office and the production site.
  • Drawing up additional protocols regarding internal contact moments and hygiene measures for employees.
  • Strengthening the travel policy, both professionally and privately, according to guidelines of the National Institute for Public Health and Environment.
  • Informing employees through a personal letter with regard to the policy and measures which have been taken at the work site.
  • All appointments which are not necessary for the primary business operations have been cancelled.
  • Office employees work from home as much as possible.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the management or your contact person within Brinkers Food.

Finally, we wish you, your employees and family members much strength and wisdom in this extremely difficult period we are facing, and let us continue to help each other as much as possible.

Yours sincerely,
